Because the packages delivered by LTL shipping are too heavy, too large, or both, basic LTL shipping--that we use for our free delivery service--has certain conditions and limitations. When a package is delivered via LTL shipping to a residential address (not a warehouse with a truck loading and unloading dock), the item is dropped off at your door or near your door (if dropping at your door is not possible); the shipment will not be brought into your home--unless additional shipping fee is paid.

Also, for basic LTL delivery, the LTL carrier will not contact you before delivery, and you must be present at your delivery location to receive the delivery; please be advised that missing an LTL delivery can incur an additional shipping charge due to the nature of LTL shipping and the standard LTL shipping industry practice, although in most cases you will be able to reschedule delivery one or two times without an additional shipping charge. In some cases, it might be possible for the LTL carrier to leave your package at your premise even when you're not present, but this must be discussed beforehand with us, before the shipping is ordered.
